Was there a reason for the recent Google Analytics downtime?

So there was some recent downtime over the weekend in Google Analytics reporting. However, the data wasn’t lost, it just wasn’t being processed and it should all be back by now.

What I found especially interesting was a post wondering if they use the computational power of the servers they usually use for Google Analytics data processing to calculate page rank.

I finally got some page rank on this blog, a big fat 0 (yeh thanks Google..!). Anyone else seen any page rank changes or page rank on sites that we’re unranked that might back this up?

Edit: Apparently I’m now unranked again, make your mind up Google!
